Overview

Identifiers and classifiers uniquely define each place. Use these attributes to track records over time and select specific types of places:

• infogroup_id - The unique identifier for a Place.
• place_type - The type of place within a corporation.

Usage

Many Place attributes link to other records using infogroup_id. The linkage can be based on physical location and legal ownership.
